«AERONOVA» continues work at the airfield with AEROLЁT-01

On December 16, the AERONOVA team successfully completed a key phase of work at the airfield with the experimental AEROLЁT-01:
• the electric motors were connected and configured,
• comprehensive testing of the tail unit, the engines, and the thrust vectoring mechanisms—a key element of the craft's controllability—was completed.

At the outset, there were issues with data transmission, but our team promptly identified and resolved all faults.

As of now, AEROLЁT-01 is effectively assembled:
• the craft is gas-filled,
• the nose reinforcement and the nose gondola have been installed,
• the frame with the engines has been mounted,
• the tail unit with stabilizers and servos has been assembled,
• power cables and fiber-optic lines have been routed, forming the foundation for further integration of the control systems.

The next phase is meticulous engineering refinement.

We must determine the optimal placement of the onboard computer and batteries, taking into account the actual weight distribution and balance, which, as is often the case in real-world vehicles, differs from the calculated model.

We also need to:
• connect the air-gas system (AGS) for the ballonet,
• perform a comprehensive reliability check of all assemblies,
• complete assembly, seal critical elements, and route and protect the wiring,
• address all remaining technical issues.

Flight testing will take place once optimal and safe weather conditions are in place. At that point, theory will finally meet practice—and the craft will begin to validate the calculations in the air.
