Burying the "Sovelmash" time capsule: remembering the event a year later

On May 25, 2021, the official ceremony of burying the time capsule at the "Sovelmash" construction site took place.

The capsule - a special sealed case - was filled with metal plates with engraved names of the project investors and an electronic carrier with the messages from them to "Sovelmash". Then the case was concreted: every guest of the ceremony was able to grab a shovel and take part in it.

The event was attended by the "Sovelmash" management and employees, top executives of the Finnish general contractor HAKA MOSCOW, representatives of the state authorities and the Finnish Ambassador to Russia.

This event marked the completion of the zero cycle in the construction of the "Sovelmash" engineering center. The photos clearly show the construction site and the foundation. Within a year, the D&E building has grown on this site, having an almost complete exterior now.
