The "Slavyanka" technology: an innovative solution for environmental issues in India

The population and government of India are taking more and more care about the environmental ecology. In one of the fastest developing and thickly populated world countries the problem of smog and lack of energy resources is especially acute. The dwellers of the megalopolises in India want to breathe in clean air. At the same time they are not ready to abandon the blessings of civilization: transport, means of communication, household appliances.

The breakthrough technology of the Russian development engineer Dmitriy Duyunov keeps Indians on the edge of their seat since it can solve a number of environmental and energy issues.

The uniqueness of the "Slavyanka" technology consists in combining two winding types in an induction motor: "star" and "delta". At the same time, the dimensions of combined winding motors are not bigger than those in standard induction motors. There are no technical solutions of this kind in the world.

The motors made using the "Slavyanka" technology have a number of advantages over the rivals:
- they are reliable and durable;
- consume less energy;
- have better performance features;
- cost almost one third less because producing them requires less copper and electrical steel;
- can be used in various domains: for transport, in space, for household appliances.

The "Slavyanka" based electric motors made from scratch demonstrate the best performance features. But even modernizing the motors be means of rewinding based on the Duyunov's technology provides significant improvement of performance features. After modernization even electric motors of the lowest energy efficiency class IE1 demonstrate class IE3 performance and in some cases even class IE4 performance.

"Slavyanka" modernized motors are already being mass produced in China by the company ASPP Weihai headed by Victor Arestov under the license of the technology holders. These are motors DA-90S and DA-100S that are installed on two-wheelers and small electric cars. In Asia the popularity of Duyunov's technology is growing. For example, recently a major contract has been signed for the production of electric scooters with a DA-90S motor for South Korea.

India is one more country where applying combined winding motors is on the cards in the near future. The customers from India are taking an active interest in the "Slavyanka" technology, among other things they are holding talks with the company "SovElMash". There is a joint project of ASPP Weihai and one of Indian companies aimed at equipping the local tuk-tuks with DA-90S and DA-100S motors.

It's not suprising that India holds the third place in the world in terms of the number of the startup "Duyunov's motors" investors.

On November 16 a major International conference devoted to opening the national representative office in India will be held in New Delhi. The event participants will be able to see the models of the equipment made using the cutting edge technology "Slavyanka".

The visitors will get acquainted with the DA-90S and DA-100S motors, their operation will be shown on the demonstration stand.
The event guests will also see the tuk-tuk that is planned to be mass produced. Its internal parts are produced by AWEV Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in partnership with ASPP Weihai: it's the motor DA-100S (48 V, 3.3 kW), controller (48 V, 165 A) and battery (power 48 V).

Besides, the top officials of the project "Duyunov's motors" will make their speeches for the audicence. The event will be attended by John William, chief executive officer of the company AWEV Solutions Pvt. Ltd. that is the official distributor of ASPP Weihai motors.
