A universal drive for power tools and household appliances has been created | "Duyunov's motors" project

More than half a year ago, on the "Sovelmash" YouTube channel a video was posted showing the cutting speed of two angle grinders: the angle grinder (UShM) by Interskol with a commutator motor and a similar angle grinder (UShM) with a built-in induction motor developed by "Sovelmash".

The task of creating a drive for power tools and household appliances to replace the standard commutator drive was set, then the GOSTs and specifications for power tools were studied, the samples were purchased, and so on. The 2,600, 2,300 and 2,100 watt angle grinders were used as the basis. As a result of the tests performed, the obtained performance characteristics were superior to those of the commutator motor.

At the moment, in addition to the tests, the production costs for different batches of manufactured products in terms of producing the drive separately and producing power tools are calculated. Price optimization by component is underway.
