Work routine at the "Sovelmash" D&E construction site | Day 226

At the construction site, where the design and engineering technology department is being erected, the lifting of the interfloor slabs has begun from the temporary warehouse outside to the third floor of the testing&production and storage part of the building. In the future, this material will be used to install interior walls.
Work continues on the construction of the last staircase, the firebreak wall made of foam blocks continues to grow upward. To date, it has reached the third floor.
All the interfloor slabs of the 2nd-floor mezzanines have been successfully cast, but the concrete work does not end there. At the moment, the third floor of the office and amenity building (O&A) is being prepared for receiving concrete, it is being cleared of snow. After the concrete construction work in the O&A building is completed, only the last "map" for the third floor of the testing and production part of the building will remain to be cast. The installation of enclosing structures — the inner part of the building walls - is in progress.
The representatives of Astron have started work with thermal insulation, after that the external cladding will be installed. The D&E building is designed in accordance with the latest technology and taking into account all modern requirements for thermal insulation. In the future, such heating will ensure substantial savings on the maintenance of the building.
