"Sovelmash" D&E construction news

After the New Year's and Christmas holidays, work has resumed on different fronts at the construction site of the "Sovelmash" design and engineering technology department.

The process of consolidating the equipment is underway. Test benches, tables and other laboratory equipment have been moved from the leased premises to the D&E facilities and installed at the future laboratory's location. Temporary walls and doors have been mounted there. Soon the commissioning, installation, arrangement, and connection of engineering utilities will be carried out, and then the D&E testing laboratory will be put into operation.

The motor winding equipment has also been moved to the D&E and is virtually in its place.

One of the production areas is being outfitted with shelving, workstations and workbenches.

The equipment is being transported from other areas. The "Sovelmash" specialists are preparing to transport the testing area and laser equipment.

In the right part of the D&E, most of the interior partitions, which separate the one-storey extensions, have been mounted.

Earthwork is in progress. On the left side of the building, a trench was dug earlier, and today it has been almost completely backfilled.

The storm drain's installation is nearing completion.
