News from the leased premises of "Sovelmash"

In addition to the activities on the "Alabushevo" construction site, work on the leased premises of "Sovelmash" is also in full swing. It includes ongoing tests, modeling, calculations for new electric rotating machines, and much more. Today, with the transition of the project to a new funding stage, we can also talk about the transition of the project to a new level of development — this video report is being made from the new premises where the repair works are currently carried out.

The premises are being prepared for acceptance of the equipment ordered earlier in China, on the basis of which the installation of the automated production line will be carried out.

This line will enable automated production of small-scale pilot batches of electric motors in the amount of about 12,000 units per month, but the volume of production may vary depending on the motor size and other factors. However, 12,000 electric motors per month is a significant amount, especially given the production on temporary leased premises.

After the installation of the production line In the new premises, specialists will be trained who are to operate this equipment on a daily basis. Here the work methodologies will be elaborated, programs will be created, the equipment will be optimized and debugged, the necessary tooling will be created, the prototype models of motors will be produced including small batches, which will clearly demonstrate the capabilities of automated production for certain motor models. Thus, after commissioning, the D3333E will be able to reach its operating capacity in the shortest possible time.

Work is underway in the testing laboratory too. Additional premises have been leased to expand it. Thanks to this solution, we will be able to isolate the testing line from the premises where the employees and high-precision metrological equipment are located at the time of testing, which will ensure meeting certain standards and requirements for further accreditation of the "Sovelmash" testing laboratory. After the laboratory is accredited, all the protocols (results) of the tests carried out will be authorized equally on the territory of the Russian Federation and abroad.
