"Sovelmash" company: results of funding stage 15

D3333E construction
At the company's site in the special economic zone "Technopolis "Moscow", the construction of the design and engineering technology department "Sovelmash" is underway; the most energy-efficient electric motors in the world will be produced there by applying the unique "Slavyanka" technology. Pouring the concrete foundation mattress has begun. Heavy snowfalls made adjustments to the work schedule. However, the well-organized drainage system made it possible to effectively remove meltwater from the site and continue pouring the concrete.
Most of the metal frame structures, manufactured at the plant of the subcontractor company Astron, have been shipped to the construction site. After the building frame is installed, the facing materials, coatings, etc will be shipped to the site.
The transformer box has been installed, which enables getting electricity from "Technopolis "Moscow", and not from the diesel generators, as it used to be before.
Automated motor production line
The leased premises of "Sovelmash" are tackling no less important and extensive scope of work. The preparation of the facilities for installing the future automated line to produce small-scale pilot batches of induction electric motors is in full swing. The partner of "Sovelmash" Victor Arestov, head of ASPP Weihai, has selected and purchased equipment in China, which is to be delivered to "Sovelmash" at the end of April.
In May, the equipment is to be installed and the production line is to be launched. The number of motors produced on it will depend on a range of factors, for example, size of the motors. But on average, it's from 12 thousand units per month. The automated line is very important, because "Sovelmash" will be able to prepare the employees for operating it, conduct the necessary training, commissioning, testing, fitting, installation, etc on the territory of the leased premises, without wasting time. It will enable producing small-scale batches and clearly demonstrate to the customers the opportunity for automated production of specific motor dimensions. After the "Sovelmash" D3333E is put into operation, the production line will move to the new premises, and the team will have the experience of operating it.
Laboratory
The "Sovelmash" laboratory has carried out a number of modernization and testing activities. According to the leading engineer Igor Korkhov, additional high-precision equipment has been installed, the cable system has been streamlined to facilitate the installation and connection of motors, and most importantly, the new inhouse developed software and hardware complex has been launched. Thanks to it, the specialists of "Sovelmash" can now get results at an accelerated pace and with enhanced accuracy and immediately print them out. Besides, the new tooling for testing hub motors has been developed and checked.
New development
It is necessary to note the important achievement for the project: developing its own original incremental encoder. In traction motors, a frequency controller must be used to control the motor itself. And in order to make it feasible, a special sensor - encoder - is needed. The original inhouse-developed encoder allows the company not to depend on other countries and suppliers, besides, it is much cheaper than its analogues. The specialists of "Sovelmash" have developed and created a machine that allows you to produce about 30-40 thousand units of parts, which are the main ones for the encoder. Now the company is ready to make these parts to order.
Annual audit
"Sovelmash" has successfully passed the mandatory annual audit.
