Weekly highlights from the Duyunov's Motors project
Over the past week, Sovelmash D&E continued to develop production, launched new manufacturing operations, and worked on asset valuation.
• Serial production of angle grinders continued, with around 200 units manufactured and shipped to customers. The feedback collection stage is now under way. A review of the Angle grinder was published on the well-known Russian YouTube channel "Papa Karlo".
• Casting of the Angle grinder gearbox housing on a high-pressure machine has begun.
• The controller potting area was equipped with vacuum chambers. This increased the productivity of the process by a factor of 5.
• Production began on an order for housed motors powered by a 27 V battery.
• A batch of Angle grinder units and electric motors was delivered to ASPP Weihai, the plant in China operated by Sovelmash's partner and headed by Viktor Arestov. Preparations began for testing the products and collecting feedback to determine the format of further cooperation.
• The deadline for completing Sovelmash's asset valuation was set for October 20, 2026. Once the document has been prepared, the valuation will need to be approved at a duly constituted meeting of the Company's members. This work is part of the preparations to convert the company into a joint-stock company and transfer shares to project participants.
