Weekly summary for the Duyunov Motors project
Last week saw a historic event for Sovelmash and for aviation! The ultra-heavy-class drone Motylyok demonstrated stable flight. This is the world’s first quadcopter with an asynchronous drive. Specialists will continue fine-tuning the drone, and the company is preparing for series production of the product.
Production of parts for angle grinders continued, with series production expected at the end of May.
At Sovelmash, a controller for the heaters of the hot runner mold used to cast angle grinder impellers was manufactured. It has been installed and is ready for operation.
Work was underway to manufacture bushings for the size 305 aviation engine.
Sovelmash is thus not wasting time while awaiting the commissioning permit.
