"Sovelmash" D&E construction
On August 7, the "Sovelmash" design and engineering technology department switched to permanent power supply. This is an important milestone in the history of the project and an important step in obtaining the certificate of construction completion. The temporary power supply has been disconnected and dismantled. The lease of a mobile high voltage transformer station was discontinued.
Some finishing works are underway at the construction site, after the completion of which the state commission will inspect the project.
Another equipment delivery arrived at "Sovelmash", including that for the surface mounting line. The CNC machine also took its proper place.
"Army-2024" Forum
Two developments of "Sovelmash" entered the TOP 10 of interesting novelty items of the "Army-2024" International Military and Technology Forum (IMTF), according to the official media partner MIL.PRESS. It is a unique "Moth" quadcopter and a heavy duty induction electric motor.
The "Army-2024" IMTF will be held from August 12 to August 14 at the Patriot Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre. "Sovelmash" will also showcase its other developments. But the focus of attention is certainly the "Moth" quadcopter, which was photographed even before the opening of the forum by all the participants of the event who approached the company's booth. It is the world's first quadcopter powered by induction motors. It can be used for transportation of various cargo.
