Results of the week in the project "Duyunov's motors"
At the "Sovelmash" construction site, work on erecting the design and engineering technology department was in progress for the whole week:
• casting concrete on the first floor of the testing and production building,
• installation of panoramic bay window glazing,
• installation of exterior cladding panels
• and many other tasks.
The most important tasks for the builders now are closing the thermal envelope, completing the concrete bedding and pouring concrete floors. The latest video from the construction site is available by following the link.
Meanwhile, the "Sovelmash" specialists demonstrated an induction electric motor with "Slavyanka" for power tools, which has unique performance and advantages as compared to standard commutator motors. This motor developed by "Sovelmash" is applicable not only for hand-held power tools, but also for household appliances and other devices.
At the moment, in addition to the tests, the production costs for different batches of manufactured products in terms of producing the drive separately and producing power tools are calculated. Price optimization by component is underway.

Andrey Lobov's team, together with the Obninsk Oblast Ministry of Emergency Situations, tested a combined winding electric motor for boats. The specialists of "STIIN" equipped a boat with a 5 kW DA-100S motor kit, modernized by ASPP Weihai by applying the combined winding technology "Slavyanka".
The Ministry of Emergency Situations employees participated in testing the boat on the river together with Andrey Lobov. They were very content with the vehicle, its environmental friendliness, noise-free operation, speed, and maneuverability. A similar kit can be installed on any boat. This does not require any special technical skills.
