Questions & Answers / How much time does "SovElMash" need to develop a motor?
At the end of March 2020, a milestone event for the project took place: "SovElMash" released the first motor developed in-house. The drive motor DAT-100L6 became the world's first electric motor with combined winding.
It took Duyunov's team more than three years to develop the motor, including testing and certification. When the innovation center is put into operation and operates at full capacity, up to three motors can be designed per year.
It should be understood that this is how a basic electromagnetic system is developed. Later, it can be used to design motors for various purposes, with different sizes and capacities — and these are hundreds of modifications.
Dmitriy Duyunov spoke in detail about the time required for development of motors using the "Slavyanka" technology. Watch the next video in the "Questions and Answers" section to better understand the essence of the project "Duyunov's motors".
