Motor testing carried out in the company's laboratory is an integral part of the innovative enterprise operation. To make the test results officially recognized, the measuring equipment must be verified and the testing equipment must be certified. The head of the testing laboratory Aleksandr Semyonov spoke about the procedure for these activities.

Verification is necessary in order to confirm the compliance of measuring devices with metrological requirements and to make sure that the measurements they perform are accurate enough and lie within the desired range.
This procedure can only be performed by a specially accredited organization using approved methods.
To maintain the devices in proper operational condition, verification is carried out regularly.

Certification is required for testing equipment. It is carried out in order to confirm the performance characteristics specified in the documentation and the operational readiness of the equipment.
The initial certification procedure was successfully carried out in "SovElMash" laboratory in August 2019 with the involvement of an accredited organization. It was preceded by several months of thorough preparation: "SovElMash" employees had been developing the certification program and methodology from scratch.
This year, the employees of the innovative enterprise have already independently carried out the scheduled certification of the test stand thus confirming that the equipment is to be operational throughout the year.
