Water, asphalt and lighting: what's new in the "Sovelmash" D&E construction project

"The water is connected, the pipe is pressurised. It is necessary to perform sliplining and in the near future the D&E will have a functioning cold water connection", - this is the news that Alexander Sudarev gives us today in his report from the "Sovelmash" construction site.

And that's not the only positive news.

• In the area where the first cold water supply connection was made the restoration of the topsoil is already underway.
• The finishing layer of asphalt has been laid on three sides around the D&E. The landscaping is still left to be done along the front of the building. The soil is now being removed, the kerbstone is being installed, and the trench for the pavement is being formed. The site is ready for asphalt paving.
• Some permanent lighting has already been assembled in the production area.
• The finishing work is nearing completion in the office and amenity building. The workstations will soon be ready to accommodate employees.
• The climate control equipment has been partially assembled and connected.
• The wall panels are being installed. The ceiling is being painted on the third floor.
