"Technopolis "Moscow" - the first in the ranking of industrial parks in Russia

Based on the 2020 results, the special economic zone "Technopolis Moscow" has been declared the best in terms of investment attractiveness among 117 special economic zones and industrial parks in Russia according to the analytical center of the "Expert" magazine. The new ranking is available in the printed version and on the periodical's website here https://expert.ru/ratings/invest/.

The experts assessed the location, the cost of resources, the offered benefits, services and management, as well as the work of the SEZ with the residents.

According to Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy, Property and Land Relations, "the dynamic development and constant work aimed at improving the services offered have ensured taking the leading position". At the end of 2018, the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow" ranked 11th, in 2019 it managed to get into the top five. In October 2020, it became the best in the world ranking of economic zones Global Free Zones of the Year 2020 Awards in six nominations.

All the necessary conditions for work and development of high-tech enterprises have been created in the capital's SEZ. The enterprises operating on the territory of the technopark enjoy a convenient and well-developed infrastructure, and have the opportunity to directly interact with the capital's authorities. They are provided with significant tax benefits: exemption from paying land, property and transport taxes, and a reduced income tax rate. The "Technopolis "Moscow" residents get access to duty-free imports.

The preferences existing in the SEZ will help the "Sovelmash" engineering center, which is currently being built on the territory of the capital's technopark, to conduct its activities in the most favorable conditions.
