SOLARGROUP International Conference in Côte d'Ivoire: what it was like
On August 3, 2019, SOLARGROUP opened its national representative office in Côte d'Ivoire.
On July 3, 2021, an international offline conference dedicated to the two-year anniversary of this event was held in Abidjan.
The event was a landmark for the country, as evidenced by the number of participants in the conference room: about 150 people, including newcomers not yet familiar with the project, investors and partners from Côte d'Ivoire and other countries.
The highlights of the event were the speeches presented by a video conference by the top managers of SOLARGROUP and the project's top officials.
Pavel Filippov, head of the advertising and public relations, spoke about the progress of the "Sovelmash" engineering center construction, and also answered questions from the audience.
Pavel Shadskiy, commercial director at SOLARGROUP, shared the company's plans for the development of partner business and noted the successful work of the partners in the country.
Victor Arestov, the partner of "Sovelmash" and CEO of ASPP Weihai, demonstrated numerous options for using the motors with "Slavyanka" and spoke about the prospects for commercialization of the technology in the Asian markets and around the world.
The conference was personally attended by the national partner in Côte d'Ivoire Gilles Weber. He offered the guests a retrospective of the project's events, congratulated the leaders in Côte d'Ivoire to their successful efforts, and noted the active work of the partners present at the event. They are Lissa Tirogo ("Professional" status), Barbara Sacca-Kina ("Expert" in Benin), Laholi Dazere ("Master" status in Côte d'Ivoire), Victor Esombe ("Master" status in Cameroon). Valérie Kadio, the assistant of the national partner in Côte d'Ivoire, received special thanks for her help in organizing the conference and daily work in her country.
For the record, the main indicator of the partner work excellence is the fact that Côte d'Ivoire ranks 7th among all the countries and first in Africa by the amount of investments in the project.
Within the framework of the conference, Gilles Weber also held a master class for beginner partners, the purpose of which was to help each participant have a successful takeoff in business.
According to the national partner Gilles Weber, "most of the event participants declared their readiness to invest, since now they have begun to look at the project in a different way."
The work of SOLARGROUP's leading partners in Côte d'Ivoire will continue in the format of regular live presentations in Abidjan, Gagnoa and San Pedro.
