The progress of preparations for the production of "Slavyanka" based motors
The project is being developed not only through the "Sovelmash" D&E construction. Along with that, there is also ongoing work that is not so visible at first sight, but is no less important. Namely, the company is setting up an automated line for motor production, and is working on its developments and specific products.
In the new video, the Deputy General Director for Public Relations at "Sovelmash" Alexander Sudarev, and the company's lead developer Evgeniy Duyunov talk about how the preparations for production of "Slavyanka" based motors are progressing, what difficulties were encountered and how they have been overcome.
The company's specialists are now completing the commissioning of the automated line units that will be used to produce general-purpose industrial electric motors of size 100 with the "Slavyanka" combined winding. The unit that installs the groove insulation is now ready for use. So are the units for intermediate and final moulding. The next stage is the final commissioning of the winding retraction unit.
After the trial run of the line and production of the first motors, the preparations will begin for their laboratory testing to confirm all the performance features.
