How can airships be used in healthcare?
The interest in airships is growing in different countries because they can perform tasks more efficiently than other modes of transportation.
Kenya has developed its own airship to rapidly deliver medical supplies to hard-to-reach regions of the country.
The unmanned aerial vehicle is solar-powered. It demonstrated good maneuverability and proved its advantages during the tests. It is much more cost-effective, faster and safer to deliver medical supplies by airship than by road transport. The 12-meter airship is equipped with three electric motors and can fly at a speed of 60 km/h. The flight range is more than 200 km, and the duration is over 12 hours.
The Kenya Flying Labs project is in line with a target government program. The Kenyan government expects the unmanned airships to solve the problem of delivering medicines to hard-to-reach regions that lack adequate road infrastructure.
Aircraft that will be created in the New Generation Airships project will be in demand in a variety of areas and will be able to carry cargoes of 2 tons and more! You can now become a co-owner of an innovative business on the prelaunch stage conditions.
