This day in the project: on February 15, "Sovelmash" became the resident of the SEZ "Technopolis "Moscow"

Today is an important date for the project "Duyunov's motors". On February 15, 2019, "Sovelmash" became a resident of the special economic zone "Technopolis "Moscow". This status is given only to the companies whose activities are promising and significant for the country's economy.
The corresponding agreement was signed by the heads of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, the special economic zone "Technopolis "Moscow" and "Sovelmash". The event took place at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi.
To become the resident, "Sovelmash" passed a series of rigorous inspections. A special commission examined the business project for the engineering center construction, analyzed the financial and legal aspects.
To build the D&E, "Sovelmash" was leased a plot of land at the "Alabushevo" site in Zelenograd at a reduced rate.
"Technopolis "Moscow" is one of the best technoparks in the world according to the international rating. The D&E will operate in the most favorable conditions:
• income tax rate - 2% until 2028 and 7% - after that,
• customs duty on imported goods - 0%,
• buying the land - 1% of the cadastral value, and other tax benefits.
For the 3 years after receiving the resident status, "Sovelmash" has come a long and difficult path. The company prepared project documentation and received a construction permit, started building the design and engineering technology department. The D&E construction is in full swing. It is scheduled to be completed this year.
