Completion of construction and further plans of "Sovelmash"

It's time to talk about the future at the beginning of the year and at the start of the new stage 17 in the project development. The plans of "Sovelmash" related to the construction of the engineering center were outlined by Alexander Sudarev, head of the project's media relations department, during the December online conference. What path does the company have to travel for investors to start generating income?
• Complete the D&E construction. The main task for 2022 is to complete the construction of the design and engineering technology department and submit the project for inspection by the state commission. The construction is scheduled to be completed this fall.
• Put the building into operation. After passing the inspection by the state commission, it will be necessary to carry out the commissioning procedure. To do this, the D&E needs to be provided with employees and the necessary equipment. Some of the units have already been purchased and are located on the leased premises of "Sovelmash". The rest have yet to be purchased, installed, and put into operation.
• Reach full capacity in motor development. After commissioning, the enterprise will be able to reach full capacity and will begin to develop customized induction electric rotating machines with their subsequent putting into production.
• Transform "Sovelmash" into PJSC. Once the D&E reaches full capacity, the transformation of "Sovelmash" Limited Liability Company into a public joint-stock company will begin. To do this, it will be necessary to buy the land on which the enterprise is located. In accordance with the benefits provided by the "Technopolis "Moscow" special economic zone, the cost of the land will be equal to 1% of its cadastral value. Then the company's assets will be taken on the balance sheet: these are the land plot at its full cadastral value, the commissioned D&E, the intellectual property (patents, experimental and design projects, etc.). After the transformation of "Sovelmash", the project investors will be able to receive income in dividends or from the resale of their shares.
In addition, the "Sovelmash" specialists will continue to enhance the "Slavyanka" technology, develop and test electric motors, and complete other tasks.
