The electric motorcycle with a DA-90S motor was showcased in Peru

The motorcycle had been assembled at the initiative of SOLARGROUP's partners in Peru, with the help of a mechanics' team including Bautista Palomino, Isaí Ventura and Andrés Barillas. The online support was provided by Andrey Lobov, CEO of the "Resurs" production cooperative. The rework consisted of fitting the petrol motorcycle with a DA-90S motor kit, manufactured by ASPP Weihai using the "Slavyanka" combined winding technology.

The motorcycle was showcased at the end of last year in Chincha Alta as part of an offline presentation of the project, organised by SOLARGROUP's national partner Massimiliano Vivian Rossini and leading partner David Ramos.

This is a landmark event not only for Peru, but for the whole of Latin America, where environmentally friendly vehicles are becoming more and more sought after.

Bautista Palomino, the mechanic who was involved in the assembly of the motorcycle, shared his enthusiasm, "This achievement is the result of a team effort and reflects Chinchi's willingness to lead the way in adopting clean technology. We are pleased to contribute to the movement towards a more sustainable future."

The Peruvian participants in the project see the "Slavyanka" based electric motorcycle as a symbol of progress in South America and hope to inspire other cities by their example.

Earlier we told you how Andrey Lobov had introduced the students and professors from Ecuador to the "Slavyanka" based motor.
