News from DETB "Sovelmash"
A container from China has arrived at DETB "Sovelmash" with tooling for casting, a die for blanking rotor segments, and a sprue trimming machine. All of this will be used in the production of integrated electric motors and an aviation motor for the Motylek drone.
The die has been installed on the press. The first rotor segments for a frame size 305 electric motor for the Motylek drone have been blanked on it. The sprue trimming machine has been assembled and installed at its workstation.
The drone’s flight controller has been configured to a level sufficient for further flight tests.
Six plastic prototypes of single- and two-stage strain-wave gearboxes of various designs and gear ratios have been manufactured. The most promising design will be produced in metal and tested.
Another batch of parts under a commercial order has been shipped.
Sovelmash specialists have begun the initial preparation of the document package for purchasing the land on preferential terms.
The application materials for obtaining a commissioning permit have passed the initial review. The application has been assigned a number and sent for substantive consideration.
