The head of the Moscow state expert review panel spoke about the future innovative centre of "SovElMash"

The news that an enterprise for the development of innovative electric motors will be constructed on the territory of the special economic zone "Technopolis "Moscow" has appeared on the official website of the Moscow Committee for Architecture and Urban Development.

Let us remind you that on May 18, "SovElMash" received a positive expert review report based on the results of the state examination of the innovative center project.

Valeriy Leonov, Chair of the Moscow Committee on Pricing Policy in Construction and State Examination of projects, reported on the approval of the project documentation.
According to the documents, the investment project with the full name "Innovative center for the design, technology development and organization of pilot production of energy efficient induction motors and generators with combined winding and control systems for them" will be located at the address: Zelenograd, the territory of the SEZ "Technopolis "Moscow", plot No. 16, "Alabushevo" site, Silino district, Zelenograd administrative district of the city of Moscow.

The head of Moskomexpertiza (Moscow Committee on Pricing Policy in Construction and State Examination of projects) emphasized the importance of enterprises located in the special economic zone for the development of innovative technologies in Moscow. "Highly energy-efficient electric motors can be used both in industry and housing and utilities, as well as in electric transport," Valeriy Leonov said.

The news reports interesting details about the future innovative center taken from the project documentation.

- The total area of the building will be almost 14.5 thousand square meters with a height of one to three floors.

- The project provides facilities for various purposes, including: a security post, work offices, a conference room, a medical center, a canteen, a testing laboratory, a nitrogen compressor unit, an anechoic chamber, areas for production of electric machines and radio-electronic controllers, and others.

- Eight staircases and four elevators are planned to move people and cargo between the floors.

- The area will be equipped with: engineering and technology platform for fitting cooling systems, unloading zones, car and bicycle parking lots.

- There will be lawns, trees and shrubbery planted around the buildings; lighting and fencing with a noise shield will be installed.

"According to the project, about 150 people will work in the production complex that will be able to produce up to 550 electric machines for general industrial and special purposes, as well as up to 50 electric drive systems based on induction motors," Valeriy Leonov added.
