Spend self-isolation time in an interesting and useful way!
We have prepared a selection of films made in the West about successful financiers. All the films are inspired by true events and received high ratings from both critics and viewers.
1. The Founder (2016). The film is about Ray Kroc, an ordinary and middle-aged American, who thanks to his organizational talent founded an empire of fast food restaurants McDonald's.
2. Wall Street (1987). An Oscar-winning picture by Oliver Stone, a classic movie about stockbrokers. Strong ambitions, a thirst for money and a willingness to go to great lengths do not make the main character happy in the end.
3. The Big Short (2015). A film about the events of the world financial crisis in 2007-2008. Several financial analysts were able to predict the crisis and made a huge fortune. A fairly deep analysis of financial mechanisms and an open ending make the viewer think about a lot.
4. Becoming Warren Buffett (2017). A documentary about a man who became a legend in the world of investment. The film tells about the life of a brilliant financier who at the same time remains one of the major philanthropists in history. An excellent motivational movie for self-development in the field of finance.
5. Imagine That (2009). A comedy about traders starring Eddie Murphy in the title role. Business failures make the main character rethink his values and pay more attention to the family. Oddly enough, this is what ultimately leads him to real success.
This movie will help you better understand the intricacies of stock markets and big business. And most importantly - to understand what qualities make financial geniuses succeed, what they have to sacrifice for the sake of billions, and whether it is possible to be rich and humane.
