A dedicated unit was installed and connected above the high-pressure aluminum casting machine; it will remove soot and prevent the ingress of gases generated during casting. The purified air will be directed into the workshop and, additionally, may be used to heat the premises.
The unit for producing packaging from foamed plastics and polystyrene has been positioned, with the assemblies and piping previously removed for transportation reinstalled on it. In the coming days, specialists from China are expected to arrive to complete the final hookup and piping of the machine, connect it, perform initial commissioning, and train Sovelmash specialists.
Testing continued on the aviation electric motor for the "Motylek" drone together with the propeller, controller, and battery. The set was tested in various operating modes, assessing mode sustainment duration, overheating, battery voltage sag, and thrust. Flight controller tests were conducted and PID controllers were tuned. For this purpose, a dedicated room was equipped and lined with soft materials. Rotor balancing was performed for the "Motylek" 305 frame-size motor.
Special tooling has been produced for manufacturing the plastic parts of the angle grinder, so that the parts complete their final cooling in a fixed position corresponding to their position during assembly of the angle grinder.
