Weekly highlights from the Duyunov's Motors project
Work to improve manufacturing processes and expand production continued at Sovelmash's D&E department. All these efforts are necessary to increase the company's profitability.
• The crank press was put into operation. It still needs to be fully filled with lubricants, and the preservative coating must be removed from its working surfaces.
• The assembled angle grinders can now be inspected using X-ray equipment, which greatly simplifies the work of the technical control department.
• Sovelmash has set a goal of at least doubling its range of commercial products by mid-October through new Angle grinder and motor models. One of the new products is an Angle grinder with enhanced protection against electrical breakdown and a three-wire cord, designed for use where dew may form.
Work also continued on valuing Sovelmash's tangible and intangible assets. This is important for converting the company into a joint-stock company and transferring shares to project participants.
